Steel pipes are cylindrical tubes made from steel that are used many ways in manufacturing and infrastructure. They’re the most utilized product made by the steel industry. We provide high quality Mild Steel/Carbon Steel ERW Black and Galvanized Pipes/ Tubes.
Steel pipes can be manufactured by techniques that may or may not contain any seam.
Pipes having seams are produced by welding steel strips. Welded Pipes are produced by different welding methods as fusion welding, electric resistance welding (ERW), submerged arc welding (SAW)
Pipes that do not contain any seam are termed Seamless pipes. Seamless pipes are produced from steel in a solid, round cylindrical shape, called a square or round bloom or billet. The input materials are heated and then either pushed or pulled (while being rapidly rotated) over a mandrel with a piercing point positioned in the center to make it a hollow shell and then rolled or extruded and drawn to size. The pipe is then finished until it becomes the size and wall thickness desired.
There are three popular processes for producing seamless pipes; hot extrusion process, rotary piercing process, and cupping and drawing process.
